Leonard (Len) Kiefer is an economist who helps people understand what’s going on in the economy, housing and mortgage markets. Len joined Freddie Mac in 2009, and has served as Deputy Chief Economist since December 2012. Len is responsible for primary and secondary mortgage market analysis and research, macroeconomic analysis and forecasting.
Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Len was an assistant professor at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where he conducted research on macroeconomics and monetary policy. He has also taught economics at The Ohio State University and finance at George Mason University.
Kiefer holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Kentucky, and a PhD from The Ohio State University. Len is a member of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA) and the National Association for Business Economics (NABE).
Freddie Mac was established by Congress in 1970 to provide liquidity, stability and affordability to the nation's residential mortgage markets. Freddie Mac supports communities across the nation by providing mortgage capital to lenders. Today Freddie Mac is making home possible for one in four homebuyers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
Jenneese Worley is a Sr. Account Executive in the Regional Lending segment of the Single-Family Client and Community Engagement organization. She is responsible for the business development and management of key customer relationships with a focus on leading activities that impact the customer experience. Since 2014, Ms. Worley has overseen the day-to-day activities and performance of these customers and is the point person for all communication. Her focus is managing relationships with regional lending customers in the Mid-Atlantic.
Mia Jones is an Affordable Lending Manager in Single-Family Client and Community Engagement organization. The affordable lending team is committed to ensuring Freddie Mac has the offerings to support responsible lending, provide sustainable homeownership and improve access to credit for all borrowers. Mia supports lending and banking clients to develop and execute plans for meeting affordable lending, community outreach, and CRA goals. She analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities and develops strategic direction from market information.
Hussam Qutub has served in a number of senior capacities with Guidance Residential since its first year in business. He joined Guidance Residential in 2003 as Vice President of Marketing and Communications where he played a significant role in the company's first 10 years of expansion and its path to dominance in the marketplace. During his tenure, Hussam has been a featured speaker on the topic of Islamic home financing at over a dozen major conferences and has been quoted in a number of major national and international news outlets. Today, he leads Guidance Residential's national sales and business development efforts with a major focus on growing the company’s market share and its relationships with Realtors and community leaders. Hussam is a graduate of George Mason University where he earned a BA in International Relations.
Salman Ali is the Vice President and Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager. He has been with Guidance Residential for 15 years, and now recruits and trains Account Executives in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Kentucky. Salman holds a BA in Business Administration and has over 20 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry. Salman has a passion for Islamic Financing and enjoys educating others on the subject.
Adam Elsayed is the Assistant Vice President of Guidance Home Services (GHS). In his role, Adam leads the company’s concierge team members and facilitates Realtor partners into the GHS Network. As the preferred referral platform for Guidance Residential, Guidance Home Services manages a network of over 1,000 pre-screened Real Estate Agents that work to assist homebuyers in finding their dream home.
